The Eric Bleumink Fellowship is a competitive funding opportunity offered by the University of Groningen in the Netherlands for outstanding students from eligible countries who want to study a Master’s degree.
The fellowship is available for 1-year or 2-year Master’s programmes starting in September. According to the official University of Groningen page, the grant covers tuition fees, international travel costs, subsistence, books, and health insurance.
However, this opportunity has one very important condition: applicants cannot directly apply for the Eric Bleumink Fellowship. Instead, candidates must apply for a Master’s programme at the University of Groningen. The Admission Office and Faculty Admission Boards will then determine which suitable applicants may be nominated for the fellowship.
To be considered, applicants must receive provisional or unconditional admission for a Master’s programme before February. The university advises applicants to complete their Master’s application before 1 December to allow enough time for processing.
